Olga de Dios
(San Sebastián, 1979)
Artist, illustrator, character creator, and book author.
Since the publication of Monstruo Rosa in 2013, Olga has focused her work on artistic creation aimed at children. In all her projects she aims to work for the promotion of creativity, freedom, and critical thinking, always approaching children with the respect and delicacy required by the most demanding and sincere public that an artist can face.
She has published eight illustrated albums as author and illustrator, which have been translated into 14 languages and have traveled to more than 20 countries. She has also illustrated the stories of other authors and has worked on different artistic projects, always with the illusion that through art a better world can be created.
She holds a degree in Illustration, Engraving, and Printmaking from the Escuela de Arte Diez (Madrid) and a degree in Architecture from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid, UPM and the KU Leuven (Belgium).
