Qozeem abdulrahman olaoluwa (b.2000) lives and work in Badagry (Nigeria ). A self taught mixed media artist, who uses acrylic, paper and charcoal as medium of expression to discuss his experience and activities around him while growing up.
Growing up as a kid from rural environment reminds me of some lovely activities, which influenced me to create a mixed media realistic paintings.
The faces i make with, charcoal on paper and the body are like semi-abstract, which discusses childhood activities that resonates with my growing up.
My upbringing and growing plays a unique role in my paintings and this has made me happy, because I believe art is about uniqueness and personal experience which revolves around the artist and their environment.
