In its fifth edition, Urvanity will have a very special stand... Attired with his scissors, Sr. García – one of the artistic references in collage technique in Spain – will fill the stand of the super premium Martin Miller's Gin with madness and ingenuity. Located on the garden floor of the COAM headquarters, the artist will turn this photocall-space into an interactive surrealist world thanks to his graphic poetry. He will take us on a journey from madness to genius which depicts the gin brand; a reflection of the bon vivant spirit, the non-conformist, the iconoclastic and the entrepreneur.
This same universe will flood the VIP area at the COAM, with a sampling bar of the best gin & tonics and cocktails, and the VIP dinners that will be held at the official hotel of the fair – Only YOU Hotel Atocha – to be attended by collectors, artists, and other guests from the art world. Undoubtedly the perfect finale for each fair day.
Sr García
Sr García is the pseudonym of an illustrator from Madrid who has been making collages since 2002, whose production has been published in an extensive list of national and international media and publications. Partly influenced by the avant-garde, Surrealism and Dadaism, his creations are based on chance, encounter, and spontaneity - as if it were a game - looking for the smile of the audience.
