Ota is a figurative South Korean artist (b.1981 - Mokpo | South Korea) living and working in Seoul. Art Director first then full time artist since 2022. The beginning of her « art story » has started with a little classic western art book offered by her parents when she was a kid and then a couple of years later she graduated from Incheon University with a Major in Fine art.
Ota mainly draws colorful portraits with cinematic direction that describe the youth of our era. Thanks to the oil painting, the canvases seem almost alive allowing the spectators to immerse themselves totally in the melancholy of the characters represented.
